The primary purpose of the Bourbonnais Friendship Festival, Inc. is to conduct the annual Bourbonnais Friendship Festival in Bourbonnais, Illinois for civic, patriotic, educational and social purposes;  for activities related to the organization; and fundraising for Friendship Festival activities.  It is further intended to promote the preservation of regional customs and traditions and to provide good, wholesome, fun activities and entertainment in a family atmosphere.

The secondary purpose is in anticipation of generating funds for local community and/or local family oriented projects and to promote well-being, health and safety.
